Mindfulness CD
The Oscailt Mindfulness CD is specifically designed to support you in your meditation practice.
Sometimes, despite our best efforts to relax and be present, we find it difficult to do so. This CD will go some way to help you accomplish this, and is particularly beneficial to those who wish to practice Meditation at home.
Two Meditations are offered on the CD, with step-by-step instruction in the practice of mindfulness. Both tracks of about half an hour each: one is on the Body Scan and the other is a guided Sitting Meditation.
The Body Scan is a guided meditation through your body. Its aim is to give you a means to develop an alert form of relaxation and a deeper connection to your body. It will help you develop awareness and sensitivity as to how your body responds to various situations, including those of pain and stress, and will gradually allow you to have greater choice in your responses.
The Guided Sitting Meditation follows on from the body scan and will help you develop greater sensitivity to your body and to the world around you. The breath is the main focus, but other techniques are also employed to help you to develop greater moment-to-moment awareness and clarity as well as enhancing your capacity to experience peace and well-being.
